Who IS Leslie Subaldo?

From the packed streets of New York City to the street markets of Manila, Philippines to the ruins of Pompeii, Italy, Leslie has been everywhere. She is inspired by the scenes of everyday life, whether they are in the streets of her hometown or in the Renaissance-style streets of Rome.

Leslie has dabbled in all art mediums, but she finds herself mostly working with photography and digital media. She loves how she can capture something with her camera (Canon EOS Rebel T3i, if anyone was wondering) and emphasize certain details in Adobe Photoshop. When creating, she tries to look for patterns and repetition, or something profound that most people do not notice. Two of her inspirations are Jackson Pollock and Andy Warhol. She loves Pollock's idea of spontaneity, and she enjoys Warhol's focus of common everyday items that are popular in society.

When she is not creating art, you can find her either reading a book, writing, surfing through social media, exploring the Marvel Universe, or bowling.
